You don’t need to be an artist to create something beautiful. This beginner-friendly watercolor painting class in Brunswick, Melbourne is a chance to slow down, play with colour and discover what you can create — even if you’ve never picked up a watercolor brush before.

Inspired by beautiful Australian gum blossoms, you’ll be guided step-by-step through watercolor techniques including wet-on-wet painting, layering, colour mixing and composition. You’ll have plenty of freedom to experiment and make the painting your own, with guidance whenever you need it.

With a maximum of 8 participants, the class stays relaxed and intimate, so everyone gets plenty of individual attention. By the end, you’ll leave with your own completed A4 gum blossom painting — and, hopefully, the confidence to keep painting at home.
